Nakajima Erina, the artist best known for performing the 2nd opening theme from the Wedding Peach anime series, “Wedding Wars ~Ai wa Honoo~” has covered the song again in a haunting piano version. “Wedding Wars” was Nakajima’s first single and debut as a singer so it still holds a very special place in her heart after all these years.

Wedding Peach co-creator Yazawa Nao promoted the video on Twitter as did Sekine Anri who provided the original arrangement for the song, again noting it was their love of ‘Earth, Wind & Fire’ that helped inspire the track. You can watch Nakajima perform the song in full via her YouTube channel.

As for this website, I haven’t forgotten about it! I actually want to work on some new content and enhance the existing image galleries. However, I do need to find a new host before I can do anything else so until then please enjoy an enhanced layout featuring artwork of the love angels by another Wedding Peach mangaka, Fujii Midori. I have also updated the Website page to amend broken links and add a few new ones.

I look forward to adding something more substantial to this website soon!

Just a quick update featuring news and no additional site updates. The 15th episode of Wedding Apple was added to TapNovel today (as per its usual weekly schedule) but in addition to the usual update, the first two episodes as performed by Nishimoto Rimi are now live! You can check them out here.

Nishimoto reads the chapters (per the preview video we saw of her behind the scenes) but she also puts her own spin on character dialogue too. Overall, a unique way to enjoy weekly Wedding Apple instalments imho, particularly for those with low vision. Although this site isn’t dedicated to Wedding Apple, I figure this sort of stuff is relevant news for those following the title or just Wedding Peach fans interested in learning more about this next exploration of the concept.

I’ll be back next time with some actual site updates!

Back again with more content for September! First up, I’ve completed a fairly comprehensive look at the Wedding Peach North American Manga Releases. Like the Anime Releases page, this section includes details on the volumes released in English as well as some other bits & pieces regarding the North American version of the Wedding Peach manga by Yazawa-sensei. I hope you find it informative!

I have also started on the black & white pages from the ‘Secret File’ art book with 5 new scans in Secret File section.

Also of note, Wedding Apple continues to be updated weekly via the TapNovel service. Voice talent Nishimoto Rimi has recently come on board to read the series and portray Ringo/Apple. TapNovel has kindly shared a 40-minute video of her in the recording booth via LivePark. Nishimoto even styled her hair like Ringo’s for the session! It will be interesting to see where TapNovel takes Wedding Apple in the future.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy the updates.

Welcome to the new-look Weddingpea.ch featuring an eye-catching new design from Kaci Elizabeth and graphics by yours truly. I know it has been a while since I’ve checked in here and I’m sorry, I haven’t forgotten this site but there’s been a lot going on over the past year that has kept me away. The important thing is that I’m going to try and update here every few months from now on and slowly get through my gigantic “scans-I-need-to-edit” pile.

In addition to the new layout, I’ve added 5 new scans to the Secret File scan section. Next time I add images from the artbook they will be from the design section, which is in black & white. Exciting!

Wedding Apple

Furthermore, I have popped a blurb on the sidebar about Tomita Sukehiro’s new project in the Wedding Peach universe, Ai Tenshi Seiki Wedding Apple! A new generation of love angels takes on devious devils out to destroy love in this weekly visual web novel. The series is currently only available in Japanese but you can access each chapter for free during its release week. Check it out here.

I’ve written about the series a little bit on my blog, but I don’t have the time to focus on it in-depth at present. However, I strongly recommend checking it out as the team behind it really does seem to be trying to provide an updated version of the concept to fit with current audience expectations. Exciting, huh?

Finally, be sure to track down Yazawa-sensei’s follow-up to her Manga Drawing Deluxe book, Drawing and Painting Anime & Manga Faces! This new guidebook covers everything you need to know about drawing expressive characters using manga techniques, all as instructed by Yazawa-sensei. If you enjoyed her first book, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on this new one.

That’s about it, I think! Oh yes, I did tidy up the website page and remove some dead links. Always open to exchanging links with relevant magical girl/shoujo manga/etc. websites and Tumblr pages. Thanks for reading this far and I hope you’ll enjoy the latest round of updates. Until next time…!

First off, this website is 1 year old already, can you believe it? Apologies for the lack of updates, real life has been hitting me over the head with a stick lately but I haven’t forgotten my commitment here!

To celebrate the site’s anniversary and just general help inject some life into the place, I’ve (finally!) added the third and final series OST, Wedding Peach Memories, to the Music Archive section. This album contains some great character themes for Salvia and Potamos, as well as some lovely character monologues.

Now while you wait for the next site update, why don’t you pre-order Yazawa Nao’s new English-language manga illustration guidebook? Manga Drawing Deluxe: Empower your Drawing and Storytelling Skills. The trade paperback will hit shelves in May of 2020 and from what I’ve seen of the book’s early stages, it will be a valuable resource for budding artists.

I’ve had a few setbacks lately but will try to put together a proper update for you soon. Until then, please continue to support fan work from fellow Wedding Peach-lovers the world over! ^^

I’ve added scans from volumes 6 and 7 of the Wedding Peach Anime Comics, which you can find in the Anime Gallery. These covers are quite pretty so I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.

Meanwhile, Clue’s Wedding Peach jewellery collaboration release has gone swimmingly for the brand, with the initial shipment of goods selling out within 24 hours (more, of course, are coming but don’t forget that the whole collab is limited edition). Clue has also confirmed that they will be releasing a functional Saint Something Four replica to hold items of jewellery. They revealed the design via several Instagram posts and I think you’ll agree that it looks rather impressive.

More on that release towards the end of the month! Thanks for stopping by~
