Gallery – Flyers & Pamphlets

Flyers and pamphlets are printed advertising materials, with flyers usually being a single page in length while pamphlets are often several pages in length and can come stapled or folded together. In the 1990s, when digital advertising was limited, stores and publishers commonly used flyers and pamphlets to promote upcoming anime releases. These materials were often distributed by hand in retail spaces, included with purchases, or sent through the mail.

Wedding Peach, like many anime titles of that era, was promoted using a variety of such flyers and pamphlets. While much of the information and imagery from these materials is now available elsewhere in higher quality, I’ve held onto quite a few as they provide a unique glimpse into  industry practices of the time.
